All Over Balm

I bring this along because the container is convenient to tuck into the bag. The texture is thicker, so I don't use it in quite the same way as lotion.

I don't use balm as often as lotion, but this has earned a spot in our routine. I like having a richer option nearby.

I bought this to try alongside the lotion. The textures are different enough that I can see why I'd keep both around.

There's not much to fuss with here. I take a small amount, warm it between my fingers, and apply it where I want a balm rather than a lighter lotion.

I prefer a balm that doesn't feel watery, and this one has that richer consistency. I use a little at a time rather than scooping out too much.

I keep this near the changing area and use a small amount when I want something richer than lotion. The jar is easy to tuck away, so it doesn't add much clutter to the shelf.

Looks like a firm lip balm consistency so I was worried it would feel uncomfortable on my baby. Kokum butter's melting point is right at body temperature. The second it touches warm skin it liquefies completely and becomes silky. My daughter doesn't fuss at all during application. The warm melt feels like a tiny massage in itself. Really smart ingredient choice.

11 weeks of cradle cap that wouldn't budge. Applied a small amount every night, left it 20 minutes, then soft brush during the bath. By day 6 it was flaking away cleanly. More brands should do this.

This isn't something I reach for every single time, but I'm glad it's there when I want a balm instead of a lotion. The jar is easy to keep close by.

The texture is more solid than I expected, but it softens as I work with a little between my fingers. A small amount is enough for the way we use it.
