  • Our Story

    To every parent who has ever stressed over a sudden rash, a stubborn dry patch, or an unpronounceable ingredient label: I see you, and I created this for you. Hi, I’m the founder of Amrā Baby, and a fellow mom to two little boys.

    Growing up in India, Ayurveda wasn’t a trend; it was just a way of life. If I got a scrape, my grandmother would reach for haldi (turmeric). If I had a dry patch of skin, my mom would reach for almond or coconut oil to soothe it. And if I had a tickle in my throat, it was always honey and ginger.

    But my absolute favorite childhood memories are of the summers. For two blissful months, my entire family would gather to relish the season of endless mangoes. We would climb the low branches, shake the trees to grab the fruit, and laugh until the sun went down. The mango, or Amrā in ancient texts is a piece of my soul. It is an homage to the land that raised me.

    Years later, after settling down and having a family of my own here in the USA, they inherited my sensitive skin. As a mother, I tried every single baby brand on the market. While I found a few good products here and there, I realized there was a massive gap. I yearned for a complete luxury skincare range that offered the traditional Ayurvedic touch of my childhood, but was formulated with the rigorous, clean science required for highly reactive skin.

    After a full year of extensive research, Amrā Baby was born.
